Plug-in Figures in a Box
A small box, a figure, short legs, long legs …
The history of Kellner began in 1919 in Leipzig, Germany.
Georg Kellner (1898 – 1974), then a passionate builder of aeroplanes came to the idea of model planes. He founded a company and became one of the world-wide leading producers of model toys.
At the end of the 1920’s he invented a new flexible connection from rubber (the ‘jummi’) and patented this. The Kellner Plug-In Figures were born.
Each component can be placed in several spaces, hands and limbs can easily move to join one another in various places, creating new moods and characters.
All the components are inter-changeable, as your collection grows so does the world you create.
Each Plug-In Figure comes in a lovely gift box.
